Experiencing fear, pain, and struggles are inherent in the human experience, and counseling can be a place to receive support and healing amidst challenging times. Are you interested in learning how to prioritize your needs and be kinder to yourself? Do you want to unlearn expectations that hold you back, increase your understanding of why you feel, think, and act, or cultivate greater authenticity in relationships? Are you interested in exploring your inner world to make positive changes in your life? If you are longing for deeper relationships, self-compassion, and emotional freedom, please consider reaching out.
As a LPC at Friendly City Psychology, I provide a warm and understanding environment in which clients can explore their concerns, get to know themselves better, foster resilience, and show up more authentically in their lives. I utilize a person-centered orientation and integrate interpersonal process, CBT, mindfulness, and insight-oriented techniques. I offer thoughtful questions to guide my clients to insight about their values and needs rather than offering advice, and clients have often noted that I help that feel more fully “seen.” I have particular interest in and passion for working with folks who are curious about themselves and others, who are interested in reflecting on how past relationships and experiences may be impacting their current struggles, and want to work on people-pleasing or perfectionist tendencies.
It can be hard to ask for help. I'm interested in collaborating with you on your healing journey. I believe in human resiliency, the strength of vulnerability, and the transformative powers of connection, acceptance, and gratitude. Please reach out if you're interested in drawing from your strengths and creating change in your life that is meaningful to you!
