I founded Friendly City Psychology to serve and support the mental health and wellbeing of our community. I wanted to surround myself with amazing clinicians who care about each other as much as the work. Just like a community, we are better together.

I've dedicated my life to helping people reach their potential, improve the quality of their lives, and connect with what feels meaningful and valuable. I've had the privilege of working as an ally and advocate alongside amazing individuals and communities working to create social change. I've worked in a variety of settings; university counseling centers, partial hospitalization program, Veteran's Affairs psychology clinic, private practice, and outpatient mental health facilities. I have extensive experience providing individual, couples, and group counseling as well as consultation and provision of clinical supervision.

I am a cognitive-behavioral psychologist who is fascinated by how you think about yourself, the world, and others. I want to know how you make meaning of situations, how you interpret interactions, the predictions your mind makes, how you navigate life, and the ways you react when you experience intense emotions. Knowing those patterns allows us to understand why you are feeling the way you are and how we can practice new ways of being. I also integrate acceptance and commitment, solution-focused, interpersonal, and emotionally-focused interventions into my clinical work.

Although I provide treatment for a variety of concerns, I have specialized training in treating anxiety and panic, chronic and excessive worry, fears and phobias, as well as OCD.
